The centuries-old war between humans and vampires destroyed the surface of the planet and led democracy under an organization called The Church. They built huge walled cities to protect mankind and developed a group of elite warriors, priests, turning the tide against vampires. Most of the vampires were killed, while the rest were kept in the reservation. With the war, the clergyman dissolved the priests. Outside the boundary wall, some people want to survive free from the totalitarian control of the church.

Priest (Paul Bettney) is contacted by Hicks (Cam Gigandet), The Sheriff of Augustine, a free city. The priest finds out that his brother and his wife, Shannon-Prest’s girlfriend, were badly injured in the vampire attack – before the priest entered, and the priest’s niece, Lucy (Lily Collins) was kidnapped. Hicks sought Prest’s help in saving Lucy. Prest asked the clergyman to restore his authority, but church leader Monsigner Oralas (Christopher Plummer) does not believe the story of the vampire and denies, discourages the idea that the church has tried to convince the city of its authority for fear of compromised the city Was completely green. The priest protected the city and Orallas sent three priests and a priest to bring him back.
